Summer Solstice: It's Time For Your Summer Altar

Hello everyone. I hope you’ve all been enjoying the Strawberry Moon activities and that you’re settling into summer now that the solstice has passed on the 21st. But the vibration only just shifted a few days ago, so it's still there to enjoy throughout the week. And I pray that we all get to 🙏🏻.

It’s officially summer, and my heart is so full because Alexander graduated from kindergarten today with his little ceremony, and Adriel is moving up into the third grade. These are such sweet changes for our family.

I know the world feels heavy sometimes, and we all carry our own worries and stresses. Some of us have less help than others, and I’m truly grateful for every bit of support that comes my way. But we have to keep our spirits up, just like I shared in my last blog post. It’s so important.

The post was called “Are You Falling?” and I’ve also recorded a video version that I’ll share soon. For now, let’s keep moving forward with these motivational steps to help us stay in that good spiritual place the Lord encourages us to be in.

The Strawberry Moon is coming up in a few days, and it’s also the perfect time to begin your summer altar if you haven’t already. I absolutely love changing the seasonal altars and creating a little special sanctuary where I can go and dedicate time to the Lord and the angels of the season.

So when you’re ready, gather your supplies and let’s get started together.

Every spiritual altar should include a few meaningful pieces. Choose something that represents the ruler of the season, along with a spiritual animal that comes out during summer and connects to your own animal totem.

Add something personal to you for this season, like the seashell I found that feels really special to me right now. Summer flowers dedicated to this time of year, in colors that match your aura or your guardian angel, will bring such beautiful energy.

You can also include a reference to the God and Goddess, or focus on whichever one you feel closest to.

Candles are important too, with one white candle for purity and others in bright, vibrant colors that fit the summer season. Choose incense that feels right for summer, such as floral scents, sage, or nag champa. A stone that resonates with your energy is lovely, and last but not least, a special cover like a tablecloth just for this season’s altar to set the space apart.

This space is important because it's where you connect with spirit while using the area and it conjours there, making it a resting place of light and a telephone line to God. It also shows respect and gratitude for all that heaven does for you. I keep two. One in my living quarters downstairs and the other upstairs for the family, so they can have a reminder of God’s presence. While strengthening the energy there just by praying and meditating in front of the altars, I also infuse if with more energy and add a small protection grid around it to honor it. I clear my home while protecting it and adding heavenly energy infusions, but with the altars I also add a specialized infusion and grid to mark that area as sacred and off limits to any spirits passing through too.

You can add other religious figurines or talismans as long as they tie into the summer season as well.

Take your time and make it your own. Bring light into your life and keep spirit close. Do so by keeping to your path, studying, praying, meditating, doing inspiring activities, clearing out bad energy, chasing your goals, and being strong throughout. Your altar can be a sanctuary for you to release what you and to give it to heaven to help you with.

Good luck, and may your altar bring you peace and connection all summer long. Post some pics if you can? I'm always interested in your lives, and how things are going for all of you. You are so loved, always.
