Remembering A Magical Stitch In Time

To begin, I remember almost every spell and ritual I’ve ever performed, but there is one that forever shines brighter in my mind than all the rest. Though I have explored many methods of weaving magic, some grand, some intricate… many might believe that the more elaborate ceremonies leave a deeper mark. Yet, the truth is, a humble night of ritual, simple and sincere, will always hold a special place in my heart.

This memory takes me back to the year 2015, when my daughter Amber and I dwelled in a cozy home in Lindenwold, New Jersey. Our yard was fenced and safe, and it was during the early years of Amber’s apprenticeship. This was before the darkness of heavy consciousness seeped into the world and shifted its very essence. That night, we performed some lunar spells for those who had entrusted us with their hopes, and we lit a tiny bonfire beneath the vast, glowing sky.

It was the rare September 2015 super blood Moon eclipse, a celestial event of extraordinary wonder. Amber, young and curious, had never truly seen a blood moon before, and that night, the heavens unveiled their mysterious beauty. I knew it marked a turning point to the series of odd celestial events that foreshadowed the chaos and change we see unfolding in our world today.

Back then, life felt more innocent. Not that darkness and corruption were absent; we all knew they existed. But there was something in the air during those years 2014 to 2016, that felt different, almost like the last remnants of nostalgia, sentiment, empathy, and pure humanity. Im sure some of you can agree. It was as if the universe still held onto a fragile thread of magic and wonder before the heavy clouds of darkness fully descended.

Under the shimmering moon, with only a humble fire flickering at our feet, I performed my spells with Amber, and offered a heartfelt prayer for the fall. We could feel the vibrational waves of energy swirling around us, even catching glimpses of delicate strands of light twisting through the air, responding to our intentions. In that moment, amidst the quiet crackle of the fire and the celestial glow overhead, we knew we were part of something larger, an act of love, hope, and magic on that enchanted night.

That night remains etched in my heart, a luminous memory of innocence and wonder, a fleeting glimpse of a more mystical time before shadows grew darker and the world changed forever. It took me down a trip through memory lane, even reminiscing back in when Bella and Amelia came and we did a bonfire for “wish acknowledgement”.

The reason I bring this memory up is because there was a nice feeling of energy in the air for this particular spell event. While I always open up the veil of spirit in order to reach higher energies to ensure that we have nothing but positivity and divine support, there was an essence of nostalgia and this ritual.

The Ritual

Under the enchanting glow of the Strawberry Moon, the spell ritual that was heightened by the unique astronomical occurrence of this particular full moon. Not only was it 99% full, but it also carried the rare distinction of being the lowest in the sky since 2006, a phenomenon that won’t repeat until 2043, thanks to a natural occurrence known as a "major lunar standstill" or "lunistice." This event is part of an 18.6-year cycle that subtly alters where the moon rises and sets, creating a mesmerizing backdrop for my ritual.

As I stood in the soft, damp earth of New Jersey, I marveled at the moon's soft, rosy hue, which heralded the arrival of the summer solstice. This moment marked the longest day of the year in the Northern Hemisphere, allowing us to embrace the warmth and light of the season. In 2025, the summer solstice will fall on Friday, June 20, and every 20 years or so, the Strawberry Moon aligns perfectly with this significant date, making this moon especially meaningful. It symbolizes a time of manifestation and growth, the ideal moment to nurture and cultivate the intentions that dwell in our hearts.

With fresh strawberries placed in a circle on a bed of moss, each berry represented a wish each client had, the sweet scent mingling with the earthy aromas around me. even were a beautiful strawberry colored gown for the occasion. That well also being joined with strawberries in my jewelry, and strawberry colored gems. I even adored my hair with a beautiful crown of head chains, dangling a ruby gem from it, to represent the strawberries ritual too.

As I whispered the intentions into the night, I felt the unique energy of the Strawberry Moon amplifying everyone’s desires. The flickering candle flames, infused with the scents of strawberry that I added and night-blooming jasmine in my garden, casting a warm glow around me, creating a sacred space that resonated with the universe's promise of abundance.

When I completed the ritual, I sensed the shift in energy around me, around us.

As the night wore on and the Strawberry Moon continued to shine low in the sky, I was filled with a sense of fulfillment and hope. This moon, with its rare alignment and significance, reminded me of the magic inherent in the world, even amidst the challenges of life. Its presence, coupled with the summer solstice, offered the perfect opportunity for growth, allowing me to look forward to the blossoming of everyone’s wishes under the expansive sky.

The Method & Helper

In the quiet stillness of that sacred night, I opened myself to the luminous energy of the moon, channeling down its energy and allowing its gentle, strawberry glow to flow through me like a celestial river. I reached out with my consciousness, feeling the moon’s sacred light, pure, ancient, and brimming with divine power, as it poured down from the heavens, infusing my being with its tranquil strength. I channeled its energy, knowing that this luminous force was in perfect harmony with the turning of the Earth, as she gracefully moved toward the summer solstice, the peak of life and vitality.

As I tuned into the rhythmic pulse of the planet’s Summer awakening, I aligned everyone’s intentions with the Earth's natural cycle, sensing the growing warmth, the blossoming energies of nature waking from her slumber. The energy of the turning globe, vibrant and alive, spun in harmony with the moon, an energetic dance of celestial and earthly forces. Together, they formed a powerful conduit of divine energy, an ancient symphony of growth, renewal, and radiant abundance.

I called upon the divine energies of the heavens, inviting the presence of our celestial guide and divine messenger, Muriel, the Angel of June. As her radiant form appeared before me, she shimmered like sunlight filtering through a canopy of leaves, her wings vast and iridescent, casting hues of gold and azure. She was glowing with the wisdom of countless seasons, but Sumner’s vibration especially and her aura was warm and nurturing, like the gentle embrace of summer itself.

Muriel embodied the essence of June’s abundant energy, fertile, lively, and full of promise. Her presence infused the space with divine grace, and her gaze held the quiet strength of the season’s fullness. I explained the intentions that everyone had and why as a guide myself to many here, I felt that manifesting those intentions would benefit them and why it was important. Like all of my angelic friends, she listened with gentle attentiveness, her wings and energy casted a glow that bathed the space in divine light. Her assistance was added to the ritual, as well as my blending the secret Wiccan traditions I cherished, to blend the divine grace Muriel brought and earth-based magic, as it’s perfectly suited for this time of year when nature and the divine energies can be used in unity so beautifully.

With her guidance, I called upon the celestial currents, channeling the divine energies of summer, and placing trust in the warmth of the sun, the vitality of the earth, and the nurturing power of Muriel herself. Together, we infused the spell with light, love, and intention, trusting in the gentle, yet powerful flow of the universe and fate.

As the ritual drew to a close, Muriel bowed softly, her radiant wings shimmering like a dawn-lit sky, then gradually faded into the night, leaving behind a sacred blessing, a spark of summer’s eternal magic.

Afterwards, I sent back to unwind and treated myself to a few fresh strawberries, and half a glass of strawberry wine to celebrate the wonderful energy that I had just encountered. Taking in so much, I thought it would have made me feel drained, but instead it made me feel infused with warmth. This was truly a special time

I did a “cheers”, to all of you, and to my divine family in heaven for their help, as well as nature. I don’t normally take in alcohol beverages, except of special occasions and during magic. It’s always polite and respectful to use wine in your rituals as an offering, and this was a special occasion to me.

That concluded the ritual. It was a wonderful time of reminiscing, and drawing down very potent, but warm energies from nature, our beloved angelic representative, and from the moon itself. I spent a little time after the ritual just meditating there. The ritual ended around 6:45 this morning.

as I settled the energies, I thought what a wonderful time it was. There’s nothing like feeling a greater sense of purpose, a connection with the universe, and in that moment, it felt much like being embraced with love and affection by the cosmos. A true strawberry moon affair.
